Junior Chili
10-year-old Zoee T. of Lockhart
When quizzed on her relationship with Zoee, here's what Texas Martini Girl Janet Matthews had to say:
"Zoee is my granddaughter. She is Samantha Costello's daughter. Zoee made her dumps with us the night before. She did all of her own cooking except brown the meat because she was afraid of the popping. Sam helped her with that part. When she stirred, she stirred all over dial. We all used the recipe that Christine [Knight] had in Texas Monthly. Zoee was really excited to get to cook because she has been doing show off and on with the Texas Martini Girls since she was about 7. She absolutely loves to eat chili too, which is very surprising considering how hot with spices it can be, as we all know. She was terrified of talking on the microphone but she did it. And of course I am a very proud Mom and Grandma. It is a delight to spend this time with my family."
Well said!
