Congratulations to Bill Center of San Antonio for his 1st Place Chili at the 22nd Annual Roughneck Chili & BBQ Cookoff on April 2nd out in Luling! Bill was the 1st Place winner in 2009 and wife Deba won 1st Place in 2010. What are the odds on that? And, I guess there's something in a name after all, because for Bill it was another "Bull's Eye Chili" day.
Of the 51 chili cooks in attendance, only about a dozen of our folks were able to be there. We are proud to announce that the Usual Suspects won 8 of the top 10 spots, and 1st Place Showmanship too! That's right - WE ROCK!
Not much in the way of pictures came in from the Roughneck, but did get this one...
Any idea what I'm thinking? Really?
